About

About the coach

Blake has raced all over the globe throughout his sporting career. Ranging from week-long stage races as an elite cyclist to some of the biggest trail and mountain races in the world. He is a two-time Australian representative at the World Sky Running Championships, an Oceania Sky Running Champion in the marathon and has numerous podiums and top 10 finishes in some of the world's biggest trail races.

 

Starting coaching in 2016 because it was simply fun, his passion for helping people attain their goals and grow as athletes has grown exponentially. In this time, Blake has worked with athletes that simply want to get to the finish line under the cut-off, and those that are aiming to stand on the top step of the podium. But regardless of the athlete's specific goal or ability, his aim as a coach is to maximize the potential of athletes by providing unparalleled support and guidance through every step of the process. He believes that being approachable and considerate of people's lives outside running is the key to a successful coach-athlete relationship, not just the program.

Yoga Mats

Run Specific Yoga and Pilates

  • Run-specific Yoga and Pilates are available to all APRC athletes at a small cost per class or as packages

  • Online and in-person classes are available from a fellow runner with years of experience in the industry as a Pilates and Yoga instructor
